Job summary

RG Consultancy is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing business. You will lead monthly management accounts, balance sheet controls, budgeting and forecasting, and provide insightful financial reporting to senior management.

The role also focuses on cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and supporting year-end processes. You will drive ERP initiatives, contribute to finance transformation, and partner with operational leaders to enable business growth.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Previous involvement in ERP system implementation, finance transformation projects, or major system migrations.
• Experience managing finance processes during periods of business change.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using modern ERP or accounting systems.
• A proactive and hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and production of monthly management accounts.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of financial controls.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Producing financial reports and providing meaningful insight to senior management.
• Cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Supporting year-end processes and liaising with external auditors.
• Managing and improving financial processes, controls and reporting.
• Business partnering with operational managers and directors.
• Supporting finance transformation initiatives and driving efficiencies across the finance function.
• Assisting with ERP implementation, system migration or finance system upgrades.
• Ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout periods of organisational change.
