Position Title: Finance Manager (Business Partner)
Reports To: CEO
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: 3 days a week
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: £42,900 – £48,000 FTE

Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a Finance Manager (Business Partner) to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our charity. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and providing effective support to our internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain compliance with the Charity SORP and support the preparation of statutory accounts.
• Provide timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making by senior leadership.
• Coordinate the annual audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and liaison with external auditors.

Person Specification:

• Education: Part-qualified or qualified accountant (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience.
• Experience: Experience in charity finance and knowledge of SORP. Proficiency in Xero, Approval Max, and MS packages.
• Skills and Abilities: Strong Excel and financial reporting skills, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Other: An affinity with and an ability to work within Pace’s values and habits.
