Job summary

Wade Macdonald is recruiting a Finance Manager in Maidenhead. This hands-on role offers ownership across the finance function, including group reporting, investment reporting, charity accounting and Board-level reporting.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant who is technically strong but also comfortable getting into the detail, with responsibility for management accounts, statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial controls.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Strong full-board accountant with experience across the complete accounting cycle.
• Experience producing Board-level reporting and management information.
• Experience in group reporting and consolidations.
• Charity accounting knowledge.
• Confident across management accounts, budgeting and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and Board reporting packs.
• Ownership of group reporting, including multi-entity reporting and consolidations.
• Preparation of investment reporting and associated financial analysis.
• Management of year-end accounts and the external audit process.
• Maintaining financial controls and procedures; variance analysis and commentary.
