Job description

From our humble beginnings in 2006 with just three team members, we've blossomed into a powerhouse evolving into a multi-brand, Ecommerce giant with offices worldwide and a passionate team of over 4,000. In the past year alone, we've achieved remarkable milestones: automating our Sheffield DC, launching our US warehouse, and initiating our tech re-platforming. With a new CFO driving financial excellence and a customer-first approach, we're investing heavily for exponential growth. Ready to be part of our extraordinary evolution? We're seeking a dynamic procurement manager to join us in shaping the future of fashion as we continue our relentless pursuit of innovation and success.

You will work autonomously and have a lot of exposure to the business and its stakeholders. You must be able to think on your feet, move at speed and be adaptable when needed, with the support of a fabulous team!

Your Role

Reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day functioning of our financial systems and ensuring their optimal performance to support our growing business. You will work collaboratively across all group-wide functional teams to maintain and enhance our financial software tools, streamline reporting processes, and drive efficiency across financial operations.

  3. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring consistent uptime and accuracy of financial data across platforms.
  4. Represent the broader finance teams across all of the Tech delivery tribes, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and integrity is paramount.

System Implementation & Enhancement:

  1. Lead the implementation of new financial systems, upgrades, and integrations with other Ecommerce and business platforms (inventory, sales, and order management).
  2. Work with Tech and vendors to configure, customise, and enhance financial software tools to enhance overall effectiveness and meet new evolving business requirements.

Data Management & Reporting:

  1. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial data across systems.
  2. Develop, maintain, and automate regular financial reports and dashboards, providing insights into key performance metrics (KPIs) and business trends.
  3. Analyse and interpret financial system data to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and optimise reporting processes.

Collaboration & Cross-functional Support:

  1. Partner with the Finance, Tech, Purchasing, Product, Operations and Ecommerce teams to ensure financial system requirements are met and align with business objectives.
  2. Provide training and ongoing support to team members on the use of financial systems, ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures.
  3. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving user issues, system bugs, or discrepancies related to finance systems.

Compliance & Audit:

  1. Ensure that the financial systems and related data stores adhere to regulatory and internal audit requirements.
  2. Facilitate internal and external audits by providing accurate data, documentation, and system access when required.
  3. Maintain data security protocols to protect sensitive financial and business information.

What you can bring

  1. Part Qualified (Finalist) or Qualified Accountant
  2. Experience of Financial Systems, software implementation projects, system configuration advantageous.
  3. Experience of Financial Accounting, Reporting and Reconciliation processes.
  4. Broad experience of Data Visualisation, Data Manipulation, Process Improvement/Automation and Reporting Tools.
  5. Excellent technical skills (essential) SQL, PowerBI, Excel, VBA
  6. Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and create actionable insights.
  8. Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting standards.
  9. Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems and processes to non-technical stakeholders.
  10. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  11. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  12. Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
