Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the accounting and finance function, manage budgets, produce financial reports, and provide insights to support business decisions in a busy SME environment.

The role also involves payroll liaison, cash flow forecasting, compliance, and maintaining accurate records in Xero, with collaboration across senior management and external auditors.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Proven experience running a finance function in an SME, ideally sole-charge or close to it
  • AAT qualified, part-qualified or qualified ACCA / CIMA, or qualified by experience
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools e.g., Xero.
