Adele Carr Recruitment Limited has identified an opportunity for a Financial Controller in the United Kingdom. This role will be the first dedicated finance leader, reporting to the Managing Director, and shaping the finance function during a pivotal growth phase.

You will develop monthly management accounts, enhance controls and systems, and introduce budgets and forecasting along with commercial reporting.

Job description

Due to continued growth and future expansion plans, an £8m turnover business is looking to appoint their first Financial Controller. This is a great opportunity to be involved in the development and transformation of the finance function and also offers the longer term potential of FD-ship as the company expands.

Working closely with the Managing Director, this will be a diverse role encompassing:

Development of monthly management accounts

Enhancement of financial controls, systems and process to support growth

Introduction of budgets and forecasting in addition to commercial reporting/modelling

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business which is at a crucial point in its development with opportunity to be part of their leadership team and have a genuine impact on the future growth of the business.

To be considered for this role you should be experienced in a Senior Finance role, ideally within an SME. Whilst qualification is desirable, experience is key and individuals with previous experience within the construction industry would be considered favourably.
