Job summary

Blue Pelican in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounts function. You will work closely with the managing partner to provide strategic financial support to the partnership and oversee compliance.

This hands-on role combines legal cashiering, SRA Accounts Rules compliance with broader financial management, reporting and control responsibilities. You will manage a team of two and enjoy hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Accounting qualification required (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience in a law firm or other SRA regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience of the SRA Accounts Rules 2019.
• Experience supervising others.

Finance Manager - Tunbridge Wells (hybrid)

Leading Kent based law firm are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to lead their finance and accounts function. You will be working closely alongside the managing partner in providing strategic financial support to the partnership and oversee compliance.

This is a hands‑on role combining legal cashiering, SRA Accounts Rules compliance along with broader financial management, reporting and control responsibilities. You will also be responsible for managing a team of two.

It is essential that you have an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and have experience working in a law firm or other SRA regulated environment. You must have hands‑on experience of the SRA Accounts Rules 2019 and also have experience of supervising others.
