Job summary

Candidate should be a qualified accountant with hands-on experience in the legal sector, strong reporting skills, and the ability to implement robust financial processes and controls. The role offers ownership of finance processes within a growing regional firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience in a law firm or SRA-regulated environment.
• Experience in legal cashiering and client account management.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's finance/cashiering function across offices.
• Ensure compliance with SRA Accounts Rules 2019.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for Partners.
• Oversee payroll, VAT, and supplier payments.
• Develop and monitor financial controls and budgeting processes.
