Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a Finance Manager for Taunton with hybrid working. You will own the operational finance function, lead a small finance team and partner with senior leaders to drive commercial insights.

The role covers management accounts, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and KPI reporting, plus support for investment and property activity. ACCA/CIMA study support is available, with flexible working options including part-time or term-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounts and financial reporting.
• Experience in cash flow forecasting and budgeting.
• Commercially aware with strong business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts, reporting and commercial analysis.
• Forecast cash flow, prepare budgets and KPI reporting.

Finance Manager - Taunton/Hybrid - £40,000 - £45,000 - Permanent

Looking for a finance role where you can genuinely make an impact? Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to be supporting a fast-growing and highly commercial organisation seeking an ambitious Finance Manager to join their team.

This is far more than a traditional Finance Manager role. The successful candidate will take ownership of the operational finance function from the Head of Finance, becoming a key part of the business as it continues to grow and invest for the future.

They're looking for someone hungry, driven and commercially aware - someone who can think fast, bring ideas to the table, spot opportunities and improve processes. This is not a role for someone who wants to simply keep the numbers ticking over.

Key responsibilities include:

Management accounts, reporting and commercial analysis

Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and KPI reporting

Supporting investment and property acquisition activity

Business partnering with senior leadership and budget holders

Leading and mentoring a small finance team

Identifying efficiencies and opportunities for growth

Using systems including Xero and Office 365 to improve reporting and processes
