- Reforecast budgets periodically to reflect actual activity and support cash planning.
- Analyse actual and forecast budget trends, advising management on areas that require attention.
4. Line Management

- Personal integrity and an understanding of the confidential nature of the role.
- Ambition to see the role and company develop and to grow with it.
The Opportunity
Our finance function has a vital role to play in the success of our business, and this appointment is specifically designed to provide the resource and skills needed to achieve this.
We have invested heavily in new systems to achieve our long-term strategic goals, with finance at the forefront of our ambition to build a technology-first department that is best in class. The first phase of the system went live in March 2026. This role will be heavily involved in supporting the design and implementation of the next phases.
The Finance Director sits across both finance and systems, with an increasing focus on strategic priorities. This role has therefore been created for a strong number two who can be trusted to manage the finance department on a day-to-day basis, lead the team effectively, maintain robust controls and support the longer-term finance and systems roadmap.
This role would suit a newly qualified accountant currently operating as a Finance Manager, or an experienced finance professional ready to step fully into a Finance Manager role. The ideal candidate will be confident managing the day-to-day finance operation, leading a small team and taking ownership of stock accounting, while having the ambition and capability to progress towards Finance Director or CFO level in the future.
