Finance Manager - Up to £50,000 DOE

I'm working with a successful and expanding organisation in Lancashire that's looking to bring an experienced Finance Manager on board. This is a pivotal role within the business, offering genuine influence over financial performance and the opportunity to shape future strategy.

The Opportunity

Reporting to senior leadership, you'll take responsibility for the smooth running of the finance function and for delivering meaningful financial insights that support commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts and detailed financial analysis.
• Reviewing P&L and balance sheet figures to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Preparing financial reports for group review and senior stakeholders.
• Managing VAT compliance, fixed asset controls, and intercompany transactions.
• Overseeing cash management, daily reconciliations, and sales reporting.
• Supporting external audit processes and liaising with tax advisors.
• Assisting with planning, forecasting, and stock control reviews.

What You'll Bring

• A solid background in finance or management accounting, ideally 5+ years.
• Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Advanced Excel knowledge - comfortable with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Sage 200 would be advantageous.
• A methodical approach, strong communication skills, and the confidence to challenge and advise.
