Job Description

The Finance Manager will play a key role as the company grows over the coming years.

1. Oversee the management of day-to-day financial matters with the help of the Finance Assistant and alongside the Finance Consultant.
2. Line-manage the Finance Assistant.
3. Liaise with external services for audits, banking, and other financial needs.
4. Monitor the organisation's financial status and performance to identify improvements and red flags.
5. Collaborate with Project Managers to plan expenditure on project accounts.
6. Identify methods to minimise financial risks.
7. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legislation.
9. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures.
10. Oversee credit control and contribute to budget and forecast preparation.
11. Develop cash flow forecasts to improve cash management.
12. Maintain high standards of financial practices.
13. Oversee the annual financial audit.
14. Manage grant reporting for EC-funded projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:
