Overview

Are you a Finance Manager seeking the next step in your career? Do you excel in collaborating with operational teams to produce reports and KPIs? Are you comfortable engaging with customers to identify efficiencies?

We are hiring a Finance Manager on a full-time, permanent basis at our Avonmouth site to support new business. Leading GXO Finance teams across multiple sites, you will deliver clear, credible reporting on results to GXO and our customers, including weekly flashes, period reports, forecasts, and budgets.

This role is based on-site, Monday to Friday, and the employer is CIMA and ACCA accredited.

Typical Responsibilities

1. Ensure robust accounting and result visibility through weekly and period reporting
2. Maintain clarity of balance sheets to meet customer and SOX requirements
3. Lead customer reviews and prepare review packs
4. Manage financial controls related to Gainshare contracts and collaborate with operational teams
5. Analyze financial impacts of projects for business cases

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced finance role, understanding Transport & Warehouse contracts
• Ability to identify cost efficiencies and savings
• Knowledge of open & closed book contracts
• Experience in reporting roles and building relationships with internal and external customers
• Qualified or studying towards CIMA or ACCA
