Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection Ltd is recruiting a Finance Manager to lead and develop its small office-based team in Shirley, Solihull. The role includes daily bank processing, reconciliations, purchase ledgers, payroll reconciliation, and cash-flow management.

The successful candidate will drive improvements and liaise with auditors. The ideal candidate is ACCA-qualified with advanced Excel skills and experience in invoice discounting, ready to mentor staff and strengthen financial controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA level or above).
• Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Experience with invoice discounting is required.
• Strong financial controls and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Daily bank processing and reconciliations and updating discounting schedules.
• Weekly and monthly sales invoicing using Sage 50 and Timegate rostering.
• Daily purchase ledger processing and credit control.
• Monthly payroll reconciliations and payroll support.
• Lead, manage and mentor junior team members.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide information for external auditors.

Salary £45,000

Main Duties

• Daily bank processing and reconciliations including updating invoice discounting schedules
• Weekly and monthly sales invoicing using Sage 50 and Timegate rostering management system
• Daily purchase ledger processing
• Credit control
• Monthly Payroll reconciliations
• Lead, manage and mentor junior members of the team.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships.
• Provide and co-ordinate information for all external auditors
• Drive cash flow to maximise available cash.
• Assist in production of annual financial statements.

Hours of Work

9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday, Office Based in Shirley, Solihull
