I'm working with a high-growth logistics organisation in North Manchester to recruit a Finance Manager who’s ready to lead from the front, drive financial performance, and support strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
• Produce accurate and insightful management accounts and financial reports
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Management Accountants
• Oversee day-to-day management accounting and compliance
• Business partner with operational teams to drive performance and profitability
• Support and challenge budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning

About:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience managing or mentoring a finance team
• Commercially focused, with the ability to influence operational decision-making
• Ideally experienced within logistics, supply chain or fast-paced environments (not essential)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
