Job Opportunity: Finance Manager - East Leeds

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing construction company as a Finance Manager in East Leeds.

Due to an internal promotion, this role has become vacant. You will be reporting into the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation and posting of journals, accruals, and prepayments for management accounts.
2. Preparation of annual statutory accounts.
3. Production of budgets, forecasts, and weekly cash flows.
4. Analysis of monthly numbers and presenting findings to the board.
5. Managing the end-to-end audit process.
6. Leading payment processes for payroll, VAT, and HMRC.
7. Reviewing payment runs.
8. Coaching and mentoring a junior staff member.

This business is open to first or second-time movers from practice or an industry accountant.
