Job summary

Adele Carr Recruitment Limited is supporting a growing UK business in Lancashire to appoint its first Financial Controller. The role will involve developing monthly management accounts, enhancing controls and systems, and introducing budgets and forecasting to support growth, with potential for FD-ship as the company expands.

You'll work closely with the Managing Director, bringing senior finance experience, ideally from an SME or construction sector, to influence the business's future

Qualifications

• Experience in a Senior Finance role, ideally within an SME.
• Experience within the construction industry would be favourable.
• Development of monthly management accounts and reporting.

Due to continued growth and future expansion plans, an £8m turnover business is looking to appoint their first Financial Controller. This is a great opportunity to be involved in the development and transformation of the finance function and also offers the longer term potential of FD-ship as the company expands.

Working closely with the Managing Director, this will be a diverse role encompassing:

Development of monthly management accounts

Enhancement of financial controls, systems and process to support growth

Introduction of budgets and forecasting in addition to commercial reporting/modelling

To be considered for this role you should be experienced in a Senior Finance role, ideally within an SME. Whilst qualification is desirable, experience is key and individuals with previous experience within the construction industry would be considered favourably.
