Job summary

Accountable Recruitment is recruiting a commercially focused Finance Manager to lead a small UK team from Manchester on a hybrid basis. The role centers on UK gross margin reporting, performance analysis and decision support for senior stakeholders.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will drive monthly reporting, provide insightful commentary, and partner with operations and commercial teams to improve profitability. Qualified accountant and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
• Strong understanding of P&L reporting and performance drivers.
• Ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical and stakeholder skills.
• Experience managing or developing a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of UK gross margin reporting, analysis and forecasting.
• Deliver monthly reporting with trends, risks and opportunities.
• Provide commentary and performance analysis for senior leadership.
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive performance.
• Develop understanding of UK P&L and profitability drivers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, controls and analysis.

We're looking for a commercially focused Finance Manager who will manage a small team and report into an impressive Group Financial Controller. This is a key role that sits at the heart of the UK business, providing financial insight, performance analysis and decision support to senior stakeholders.

Leading a team of two, you'll take ownership of gross margin reporting and analysis, ensuring the business has clear visibility of performance drivers and opportunities. This role would suit a qualified accountant who combines strong financial rigour with excellent commercial acumen and is looking to develop their career within a growing organisation.

• Ownership of UK gross margin reporting, analysis and forecasting.
