Job summary

Agora Talent Ltd in Central London is partnering with a boutique VC to appoint a Finance Lead / Finance Manager responsible for fund accounting and management company accounting, reporting to Finance Director, with ownership in a small collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with fund accounting experience, preferably in VC or PE.
• Experience coordinating fund valuations and investor reporting.
• Strong autonomy in a small, entrepreneurial finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day fund accounting, including capital calls and distributions.
• Oversee management company accounting, including P&L reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Coordinate quarterly portfolio reporting and support fund valuations.
• Manage relationships with fund administrators, accountants and auditors, including year-end accounts and audits.
• Support wider finance and fund operations as required.

Job description

Finance Lead / Finance Manager | Venture Capital | Central London

We're partnering with a boutique, London-based VC firm looking to appoint a Finance Lead / Finance Manager to join their team.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a broad, hands-on role with responsibility for both fund accounting and management company accounting, offering plenty of ownership within a small, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading day-to-day fund accounting, including capital calls, distributions, management fees and investor reporting.
• Overseeing management company accounting, including management accounts, P&L reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Coordinating quarterly portfolio reporting and supporting fund valuations.
• Managing relationships with fund administrators, accountants and auditors, including year-end accounts and audit processes.
• Supporting wider finance and fund operations as required.

We're keen to speak with qualified accountants with strong fund accounting experience, ideally gained within VC or PE, alongside experience in management company accounting.
