Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will own the operational finance function, lead multiple teams, manage cashflow, controls and high-quality reporting, while partnering with key stakeholders to deliver value and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Finance leadership experience within SME or shared service environments.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and controls.
• CA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll take ownership of the operational finance function, leading multiple teams while ensuring robust financial controls, effective cashflow management, and the delivery of high-quality financial information across the business. This role offers the chance to influence change, improve processes, and work closely with key stakeholders in a highly visible position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the operational finance function, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and related finance operations.
• Manage, coach and support finance team leaders, driving performance and continuous development.
• Oversee cashflow management, working capital performance and treasury-related activities.
• Ensure strong financial controls and reconciliation processes are maintained across the finance function.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to enhance operational performance and improve service delivery.
• Drive process improvement, automation and finance transformation initiatives.
• Support the delivery of management information and executive-level reporting.
• Review existing processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and control.

About You

• Strong background within transactional finance, finance operations or shared service environments.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
• Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA) preferred, although relevant experience will also be considered.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and financial controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Passion for continuous improvement and driving operational excellence.
• Comfortable operating within a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
