Job summary

RG Consultancy are recruiting a Finance Manager for a growing manufacturing company in Ellesmere Port. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee the end-to-end finance function and drive robust financial reporting and control.

The ideal candidate is ACCA/ CIMA part-qualified or fully qualified with 2+ years in a senior finance post, strong analytical skills, and a commercially aware mindset. The role offers a competitive salary, pension and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CIMA part or full qualification preferred.
• 2+ years in a senior finance role.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Commercially aware with ability to communicate with Directors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full day-to-day finance function.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
• Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
• Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end processes.
• Prepare VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
• Monitor financial performance and provide analysis to senior management.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
• Support and develop members of the finance team.
• Work closely with directors and senior management on financial and commercial matters.

RG Consultancy are looking to recruit a knowledgeable Finance Manger to join a successful manufacturing company based in Ellesmere port. Reporting directly to the FD, this is a brilliant opportunity for an ACCA/ CIMA part/ qualified candidate to join an established company and grow their career.

Skills :

• Oversee the full day to day finance function
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Managing budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
• Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
• Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Managing month-end and year-end processes.
• Preparation of VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
• Monitoring financial performance and providing meaningful analysis to senior management.
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
• Supporting and developing members of the finance team.
• Working closely with directors and senior management on financial and commercial matters.
• Managing an existing team of 6 within finance

The ideal candidate

• At least 2 years' experience within a similar senior finance position
• CIMA, ACCA qualified/ part - qualified is preferred
• Commercially aware with a strong analytical mindset
