Finance Manager - £50k to £55k

Location: Derby– Office-based with hybrid opportunities

About the Role

We’re seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to join our growing Midlands team. You’ll oversee financial operations, reporting, business support, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and daily finance operations
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning
• Maintain accurate reconciliations, records, and controls
• Liaise with auditors, accountants, suppliers, and internal teams
• Improve financial processes and efficiency
• Provide financial analysis to support management decisions
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards

About You

You’ll have:

• Previous finance or accounting experience
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and reporting
• Strong Excel and financial systems experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification (or part-qualified) is desirable.
