Job summary

Ignite Talent Group is seeking a Finance & People Manager to lead the finance function across a growing multi-company group. You will manage a small team, oversee monthly reporting, payroll, CIS, and compliance, and partner with Directors on budgeting and strategic projects.

You should bring strong financial controls, people management experience, and excellent Excel/ERP skills to drive efficiencies and support HR processes. Hybrid role in Dukinfield.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounts and financial reporting.
• Payroll and invoicing experience.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• HR/people management experience.
• AAT4 or pursuing ACCA/ACA/CIMA.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage invoicing, payroll, reconciliations and cash flow.
• Oversee CIS administration and contractor payroll funding.
• Liaise with external accountants and payroll providers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Lead and develop the finance and administration team.
• Support onboarding, employee records and HR administration.
• Assist with compliance, GDPR and governance.
• Drive process improvements across the business.
• Support business growth initiatives and charity events.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll oversee the day-to-day finance operations, manage a small finance and administration team and provide support across HR, compliance and operational projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Manage invoicing, payroll, reconciliations and cash flow

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar
• Strong management accounts and financial reporting experience
• Payroll and invoicing experience
• Knowledge of cash flow management and financial controls
• Experience managing or supervising staff
• Excellent Excel and financial systems skills
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills
• AAT Level 4 or studying ACCA, ACA or CIMA
• Recruitment, construction or professional services experienceKnowledge of CIS, contractor payroll or invoice finance
• HR or people management experience
