Job summary

A prominent investment bank is seeking a Finance Manager in London City Centre. This role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, managing a team, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Qualifications

• ACA Qualified or equivalent, ideally from Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy practice.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services is desirable.
• Hands-on experience dealing with month-end procedures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for oversight of AP/AR, reconciliations, and other transactional duties.
• Management over the Accounts Payable Manager and Financial Analyst.
• Prepare tables and disclosures for annual statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for oversight of AP/AR, Reconciliations and other transactional duties
• Management over the Accounts Payable Manager and Financial Analyst
• Maintain accurate and up-to‑date records of all financial transactions, substantiating with external evidence where possible.
• Prepare tables and disclosures for inclusion in the annual statutory reporting.
• Undertake reviews of statutory reporting for accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with external auditors as required in the reporting preparation and validation.
• Involvement in multiple projects around process improvement & automation

Requirements

• ACA Qualified or equivalent (Ideally from Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy practice)
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services is desirable
• Prior exposure with dealing with process improvements / implementations
• Hands on experience dealing with month end procedures
• Experience dealing with multiple entities and consolidated accounts
