Job summary

White Horse Employment are pleased to assist a growing organisation in Chippenham in recruiting a Finance Manager who will own the finance function and provide commercial insight to the leadership team. You will manage month-end, budgeting and cash flow while building robust controls in a hands-on SME environment.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA.

• Experience in an SME or growing business environment is desirable.
• Experience with month-end, reporting and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Production of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Ownership of month-end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Providing financial analysis and insight to support key business decisions.
• Managing VAT, compliance and audit requirements.
• Overseeing transactional finance activities including purchase and sales ledgers.
• Reviewing and improving finance processes and controls.
• Acting as a trusted finance partner to stakeholders across the organisation.
