TH Recruit is partnering with a growing house-building business as they look to make some key appointments.

This presents an opportunity to join a young and vibrant Company, that has ambitious plans to become a leading developer. The Company operates within a 50-mile radius of Birmingham and has a vast land bank, capable of sustaining its growth and geographical expansion plans.

The Directors would like to appoint a Finance Manager.

THE ROLE:

• Assistance with preparation of Management Accounts.
• Ensure all month-end deadlines are met.
• Authority over Sales and Purchase ledger functions.
• Assisting with monthly forecasting including updating system information on sales. This includes ownership of P&L and supporting schedules to ensuring forecasting is accurately reflected in the system.
• Involvement in day-to-day transaction recording, including journals, purchase orders, sales invoicing, cashbook postings, payments to suppliers.
• Calculation of monthly WIP whilst liaising with the managing director.
• Prepare month-end journals, including interest and work-in-progress adjustments with company accountants.
• Submit quarterly VAT returns and monthly CIS Returns.
• Assist in any capacity during audits and reporting.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience of working within the Construction Industry for 4+ Years.
• Knowledge COINS software is essential.
• Knowledge and understanding of Domestic Reverse Charge (DRC).

In return, you can expect a competitive base salary between £40,000 - £50,000
