JOB DESCRIPTION: Finance Manager – Manufacturing / Packaging

Reporting to our UK Group Financial Controller, this is a newly created opportunity that has been formed to support the UK Finance function and site management team. As a business we will offer you the environment to grow your career and you will be instrumental in shaping the way our business progresses.

You will assist in the development, performance and maintenance of the financial activities, and as part of your role, you will:
· Calculate and input accruals and prepayments and other month end journals.
· Assist in preparation of budgets and forecast.
· Ensure integrity of balance sheet through reconciliation and production of supporting schedules.
· Assist with annual external audit processes.
· Investigate variances between actual and budget.
· Prepare Management Accounts.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Finance Manager – Manufacturing / Packaging

As the Finance Manager, you’ll have a wealth of experience in a commercially focused Finance Function, within a Manufacturing environment.

In addition, you will:
· be AAT Qualified or ACCA/CIMA part / fully qualified and have up to date knowledge of accounting standards.
· have the ability to take an overall commercial view of our business and have an input into change and progression from a financial perspective
· have experience of liaising with external auditors or experience within an audit role.
