Job summary

CV Screen Ltd in West Bromwich is recruiting a Finance Manager for a well-established international manufacturer of logistics and materials-handling equipment. The role pays up to £50,000 plus benefits and involves owning the finance function, overseeing day-to-day accounting, reporting and forecasting, and shaping processes and controls for future growth.

You will report directly to the Managing Director, lead budgeting and cash flow, and liaise with auditors and the group.

Qualifications

• Qualified to full AAT level (or equivalent), with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Confident with Sage and advanced Excel, with solid experience of purchase and sales ledger, management accounts and VAT.
• Highly accurate and organised, able to work independently to deadlines and deal confidently with auditors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting, including month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, and present your performance analysis to management.
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling cash flow forecasts, keeping a close eye on working capital.
• Manage VAT submissions and payments, and be the main contact for the group, auditors and external accountant.
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls and financial policies.

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a Finance Manager for a well-established international manufacturer of logistics and materials-handling equipment based in West Bromwich. The role pays up to £50,000 plus benefits. It's a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, AAT-qualified finance professional to take ownership of the finance function in an office-based role, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You'll oversee day-to-day accounting, reporting and forecasting, and shape the processes and controls behind the business's future plans. It's an excellent next step for someone who wants real responsibility and influence.
