Robert Half is pleased to partner with an engineering services organization based in Bicester to recruit a Finance Manager. The role offers a salary of up to £60,000 along with attractive benefits, including hybrid remote working.

This organization has offices across Europe, and the role is best suited for someone experienced within a group structure.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the accounting and administrative departments, maintaining close relations with management team members.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, complying with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage a team of Accounting and Finance Specialists in GB and Sweden, including performance management and goal setting.
• Maintain documented accounting policies and procedures aligned with local legal and internal standards.
• Implement robust control systems and perform regular compliance checks.
• Monitor financial data for three legal entities.
• Ensure data and process accuracy, including control of transactions and updated charts of accounts.
• Handle payments and accounts receivable collections promptly, following up on slow-paying customers.
• Review monthly bank reconciliations prepared by administrative staff.
• Perform month-end activities such as depreciation, tax provisions, accruals, prepayments, and foreign exchange adjustments.
