Job summary

3 Point Recruitment are hiring a Finance Manager for a profitable SME near Alcester. You will lead monthly management accounts, tighten reporting, and provide running commentary to Directors while partnering with an external Accountancy Firm at year-end and during audit.

Ideally ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified, or QBE with relevant experience, you will manage a Finance team, oversee cashflow, working capital, VAT returns, and support budgeting and forecasting with meaningful variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) preferred; QBE considered with relevant experience.
• Proven experience leading monthly management accounts.
• Strong balance sheet control and process improvement.
• Excellent commentary and insight for Directors.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• VAT returns, ledgers, payments and credit control management.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly management accounts with accurate, timely reporting and clear commentary.
• Maintain strong balance sheet control and improve processes across the function.
• Partner with operational teams to provide useful insight and commercial support.
• Oversee cashflow, working capital, debtors/creditors and daily financial discipline.
• Manage and develop the Finance team, creating clarity, ownership and high standards.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with meaningful variance analysis.
• Take responsibility for VAT returns and ensure ledgers, payments and credit control run smoothly.
• Oversee stock, margin and payroll administration.
• Improve systems, reporting and workflows as the business scales.
• Help build a proactive, commercially focused Finance function.

3 Point Recruitment are hiring a Finance Manager for a profitable, ambitious & reputable SME based near Alcester.

Reporting into the SLT, you will be the go-to person within the business for Finance matter & working closely with the external Accountancy Firm at year-end & during audit. You’ll tighten reporting, control & give running commentary to the Directors, providing clear insight & reports. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys pace, autonomy and being close to commercial decision making.

The business wants an experienced Finance leader who ideally is formally Qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) but candidates who are QBE will also be considered if they have the relevant experience.

A salary band of £45,000 to £55,000 is attached plus a 10% bonus based on company performance.
