Blackpool Football Club is seeking a Head of Finance to lead the finance function during a pivotal period for the Club and the wider football industry.

Reporting to the CEO, you will own financial control, management reporting, forecasting, cash planning and regulatory finance across the Club and operations, including the BFC Hotel & Conference Centre. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role in a lean team.

Qualificações

• Qualified accountant with strong technical foundations.
• Experience in management reporting, budgeting and cash-flow forecasting.
• Leadership experience within finance and stakeholder exposure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day finance function with strong financial controls.
• Oversee management accounts, balance sheet, VAT, tax, payroll, statutory accounts and audit.
• Lead budgets, rolling forecasts, cash-flow planning and longer-term funding forecasts.
• Provide KPI, matchday and commercial reporting with clear performance explanations.
• Partner with football, commercial, hotel and operational teams to drive performance.
• Oversee capital projects and owner investments and model regulatory impacts.
• Support licensing and governance readiness for financial reporting.
