Job summary

Sidecar Health is seeking a Vice President of Finance to shape the financial strategy and build the operating foundation as we scale in a dynamic healthcare environment.

You will lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, partnering with senior leadership to drive growth, governance, and IPO readiness, while building a high-performing finance team and scalable reporting for a potentially public company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role within a growth-stage or public company.
• Experience taking a company through IPO or public filing process.
• Track record of capital raising through PE/VC or public markets.
• Deep understanding of corporate finance, FP&A, healthcare metrics, and public company readiness.
• Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and executive presence with ability to influence at the top levels.
• Hands-on, strategic thinker with problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A function, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, long-term strategic planning, and advanced financial modeling.
• Partner with CFO, Controller, and Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth and efficiency.
• Lead IPO readiness efforts, including S-1 preparation, internal controls, audits, and investor materials.
• Build and scale a high-performing finance team with strong internal controls and cross-functional alignment.
• Provide financial insights to shape business strategy and capital deployment decisions.
• Develop scalable financial infrastructure, systems, and reporting frameworks for high-growth potential public company.
• Oversee capital allocation, cash flow management, scenario planning, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure accurate GAAP reporting and compliance across filings.
• Support fundraising and investor relations with due diligence and board communications.
• Foster transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across finance.
