Job summary

Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is seeking a Finance Intern to join the Financial Analysis or Overhead and Rates teams in Bristol for a 12-month internship. The role offers direct mentorship, exposure to real-world contracts, and interaction with company leaders while developing FP&A, cost forecasting, and variance analysis skills.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a finance degree with 2:1 or better, aiming for CIMA/ACCA qualifications, and have strong Excel/Word skills with a proactive learning mindset.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a finance-related degree (or equivalent) with strong academic record.
• Ambition to study toward a professional qualification (e.g., CIMA/ACCA) after university.
• Experience presenting data and ideas to senior team members.
• Proactive approach and eagerness to learn during a 12-month internship.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support control account managers across Boeing.
• Capture forecast inputs for FP&A monthly forecast process for assigned contracts.
• Provide reporting to PMs/FP&A and explain variances from forecast and plan.
