Job summary

Müller, part of Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller, is seeking motivated university students for a 13-month Finance internship within the Milk & Ingredients Finance department in the UK. You will work closely with a supportive team to deliver timely, accurate financial insights that support key business decisions.

This placement offers hands-on experience in a global FMCG environment, with exposure to financial reporting, month-end activities, and group projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly finance reports.
• Prepare KPI reporting and insights into operational performance.
• Assist with month-end processes including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with the management accounts team for customer performance reporting.
• Support consolidation and reporting of key finance metrics.
• Participate in group projects with placement students.

Müller is seeking motivated and talented university students to join our Finance team for a 13-month industrial placement.

As a Finance Intern within our Milk & Ingredients Finance department, you’ll work closely with a supportive and dynamic team to deliver timely, accurate financial, commercial, and operational insights that support key business decisions.

Key tasks & responsibilities include:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly finance reports to support informed business decisions.
• KPI Reporting – Prepare and distribute reporting analysis and insight into key operational performance measures.
• Month‑end Processes: Assist with journal preparation and posting, stock reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Management Accounts Liaison: Work closely with the management accounts team to ensure accurate customer performance reporting.
• Consolidation and reporting: Support the consolidation and reporting of key finance metrics, such as customer margins and pricing adjustments.
• Collaborative Group Projects: Work alongside other place m ent students on a group project, enhancing teamwork and problem‑soling skills.

Whatwe'relooking for:

Müller is looking for analytical, numerically proficient students who are personable, outgoing, and capable of working both independently and within a tight‑kn g team. We’re seeking university students who are on track to achieve a 2:1 and above and are looking for a placement year role.
