Job summary

IVC Evidensia is seeking a Finance Integration Assistant Accountant to support the integration of UK acquisitions and connect new clinics to European accounting and reporting processes. You will coordinate admin tasks quickly after acquisitions, with support from the local finance team.

You will liaise with senior stakeholders, ensure timely admin tasks, manage supplier updates, VAT processes, payroll handover, and participate in finance projects within an international environment.

Qualifications

• Studying for AAT or other accounting qualification.
• Experience with international teams or businesses.
• Excellent command of English.
• Experience in assistant management accounting roles.
• Strong attention to detail and able to deliver right-first-time results quickly.
• Comfortable in an international environment with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with clinics.
• Top level MS Office skills.
• Domestic travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in virtual finance integration meetings prior to joining the group and after acquisition.
• Ensure administrative tasks of the integration are completed on time; notify suppliers of address and bank changes.
• Obtain copies of lease agreements and liaise with the group Lease team.
• Coordinate transfer of bank Direct Debits and standing orders with Group Treasury.
• Ensure payroll and pension information handover with Payroll team.
• Complete necessary VAT de-registration forms and join UK VAT group.
• Carry out other duties within the scope of the role and support wider finance team on projects.
• Liaise with business support managers to attend initial finance meetings.
• Assist with queries from finance and non-finance teams regarding new acquisitions.
• Document handoffs to BAU leaders and capture lessons learned.
