Hewett Recruitment is seeking a Junior Finance Analyst to join our Worcester-based team, office-based, full-time. You will help onboard clients to an industry-leading platform by translating financial data into structured insights for smarter business decisions.

The role sits at the intersection of accounting, analytics and client relationships, requiring a strong finance background and excellent Excel skills to support reporting, mappings and BI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with data.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Great communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Experience with data implementation or financial reporting platforms.
• Exposure to database systems or business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding and implementation of client financial data submissions
• Analyse hotel Profit & Loss statements and accounting structures
• Map nominal codes to internal benchmarking fields while ensuring data integrity
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies across historical financial reporting periods
• Build strong relationships with client finance and data contacts
• Maintain consistency across client data mappings and reporting standards
• Collaborate with systems and analyst teams to support successful technical handovers
• Use Excel and database knowledge to support reporting and business intelligence initiatives
