Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Finance Systems Software Engineer in the UK to design, develop and support Oracle ERP-based systems. You will improve performance, support acquisitions and ensure compliance with IT controls.

You will work across Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion and related technologies, delivering scalable solutions while aligning with architecture standards and cyber security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle JDE and/or Oracle Fusion.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
• Experience developing interfaces, data conversions and integrations.
• Understanding of ERP processes including R2R, P2P, O2C and Project Accounting.
• Experience working within structured SDLC and change management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with version control and deployment management practices.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• OIC, OAC or BI Publisher experience.
• Azure Integration Services or Logic Apps experience.
• Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD and automation tooling.
• Experience within global Finance Systems environments.
• Exposure to M&A onboarding and ERP integration programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-line technical support for Finance Systems applications.
• Investigate and resolve complex incidents and problem records.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across Oracle ERP environments.
• Develop technical solutions using Oracle technologies including PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve application performance.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of permanent fixes.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
• Create reusable, maintainable and scalable software components aligned with engineering standards.
• Contribute to automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Ensure solutions comply with architecture standards, cyber security requirements and ITGC controls.
• Maintain technical documentation including designs, specifications and support procedures.
• Follow approved change management, release management and SDLC processes.
