Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking a Finance Systems Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Oracle EBS/JDE/Fusion finance applications. You’ll support incidents, build interfaces, and optimize ERP processes across R2R, P2P and O2C stretches.

The role emphasizes strong SQL/PLSQL, enterprise-scale integrations and adherence to SDLC, security controls and automation. Hybrid working and ongoing professional development are highlighted across our global Finance Systems teams.

Qualifications

Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications within Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle JDE and/or Oracle Fusion environments.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
Experience developing interfaces, data conversions and integrations.
Understanding of ERP business processes including Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Project Accounting.
Experience working within structured SDLC and change management processes.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience working with version control and deployment management practices.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience.
Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), OTBI or BI Publisher experience.
Azure Integration Services or Azure Logic Apps experience.
Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations.
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD and automation tooling.
Experience within global Finance Systems environments.
Exposure to M&A onboarding and ERP integration programmes.

Responsibilities

Provide third-line technical support for Finance Systems applications.
Investigate and resolve complex incidents and problem records.
Troubleshoot technical issues across Oracle ERP environments.
Develop technical solutions using Oracle technologies including PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher.
Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of permanent fixes.
Perform code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
Create reusable, maintainable and scalable software components aligned with engineering standards.
Contribute to automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Ensure solutions comply with architecture standards, cyber security requirements and ITGC controls.
Maintain technical documentation including designs, specifications and support procedures.
Follow approved change management, release management and SDLC processes.
