SAP S/4 HANA Finance Enterprise Architect

The role of the SAP S/4 HANA Finance Enterprise Architect is to develop the UK Firm’s technology strategy for Finance and Engagement Management domain and translate this into a roadmap that determines our investment priorities and transformation portfolio. The strategy should promote a seamless, end-to-end customer and employee experience by enabling efficient creation and modification of technology components, supporting modern, Cloud-based technologies, and aligning with emerging trends. The role includes executing and governing the strategy, assisting solution architects and projects in designing fit-for-purpose solutions that conform to standards.

Key Responsibilities

You will maintain your core knowledge of Finance and Engagement Management platforms, build FEM roadmaps, govern technology choices, and cover other domains as required.

Core knowledge

• Maintain knowledge of technology trends and impact on business
• Develop and maintain knowledge of KPMG’s technology ecosystem
• Work with SMEs and project teams to analyze and translate requirements

Application Portfolio Management

• Manage application inventory and lifecycle
• Identify redundancies and opportunities for consolidation

Roadmaps & solutions

• Build and maintain FEM technology roadmap and architecture
• Ensure data is complete and up-to-date in EA tooling
• Align roadmaps with strategy and other domains
• Support solution design, selection, and implementation
• Escalate risks and dependencies as needed

Additional responsibilities

• Participate in technology assurance processes
• Ensure decommissioning of legacy systems
• Support EA tools implementation

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential (FEM)

• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cloud and related SAP modules
• Understanding of SAP BTP, Analytics Cloud, and finance processes
• Experience in Solution Architecture and EA governance
• Knowledge of technical debt and decommissioning strategies

Essential (Other)

• Experience with Agile SDLC
• Knowledge of EA modelling tools and business analysis techniques
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work with ambiguity and leverage networks

Desirable
