A leading SaaS scaleup is looking for a Finance Director to oversee the finance function and prepare for a company exit. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders, mentor a finance team, and evolve financial infrastructure in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in high growth tech scaleups, particularly at later stage VC or PE.
• Strong academic background.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with teams across the business.

Responsibilities

• Evolve finance infrastructure, ensuring processes and controls are scalable.
• Lead FP&A, manage pricing structures, and create business cases for expansion.
• Oversee daily finance functions including monthly Board packs and statutory reporting.

Finance Director | SaaS scaleup

Hybrid working (West London office 2-3 days p/w, WFH the remainder)

Talentedge Exec are delighted to be partnering with a hyper growth, SaaS scaleup on a newly created Finance Director opportunity, working closely with an exceptional CFOO (someone that we as a business have known for many years and recruited for numerous times).

As Finance Director, you will own the day-to-day finance function, freeing up the CFOO to focus more of their time on Operations & GTM. You’ll also play a lead role in preparing the company for an exit, which is something that they are currently moving towards.

Key responsibilities to include:

• Continually evolve the finance infrastructure, ensuring all processes and controls are scalable
• Lead on FP&A, commercial finance & tracking KPI’s
• Own pricing structures and changes
• Business partner cross functionally
• Create business cases for new services as well as geographical expansion
• Own the day-to-day finance function, including monthly Board pack preparation, statutory reporting, tax work and transactional finance (AP / AR etc)
• Utilise Xero & its’ wider ecosystem of apps & tools to automate transactional finance
• Mentor and develop an ambitious and progressive finance team (based overseas)

Profile:

• ACA qualified accountant with a strong academic background
• High growth tech scaleup experience (later stage VC or PE)
• Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business
• Ambitious, driven and detail oriented. Someone who can be trusted to deliver
