Hayward Tyler in Colchester, VT, and its Energy Steel subsidiary in Rochester Hills, MI, seeks an experienced Finance Director to lead NA finance, guide growth, and partner with the President to shape the strategic direction.

You will own financial control, reporting, budgeting, and treasury, develop high‑performing teams, and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance while enabling profitable decision‑making across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting or equivalent.
• 10+ years’ minimum experience in finance for manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Extensive familiarity with government contracts and compliance.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial control and governance across NA operations.
• Oversee reporting, dashboards, and KPI/KRI management.
• Manage forecasting, budgeting and targeting.
• Develop financial analyses for new projects and commercial deals.
• Lead cost management and profitability optimization.
• Partner with the President to drive strategic direction.
