Job summary

Global Accounting Network is seeking a Finance Director to join the Executive Leadership Team of a £200m utilities and energy group. This high‑impact role is hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in the office near Chichester on the South Coast.

You will lead strategy, FP&A, governance and risk, partner with the CEO and Board, and drive commercial finance, performance management and transformation across a complex, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader within a complex organisation.
• Senior leadership experience in Utilities, Energy, Infrastructure or Financial Services sectors.
• Experience operating in regulated environments is desirable.
• Strong track record partnering Executive Leadership Teams to drive growth, profitability and business performance.
• Experience leading commercial finance, FP&A, performance management and business partnering activities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute business strategy.
• Lead the commercial finance agenda across the organisation and drive revenue, profitability and ROI.
• Own the long-term financial plan, annual budget and forecasting processes.
• Provide financial leadership and challenge across strategic initiatives and transformation programmes.
• Support the Board with forward-looking insight into performance, opportunities and risks.
