Job summary

Transaction Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting a Finance Director for a well-established family business based in Halesowen. You will be the senior finance lead, partnering with the MD and Board, owning the finance function and driving strategy across the group.

This hands-on role includes overseeing consolidation, statutory accounts, tax matters, and funding, with real ownership and visibility across sites. Parking is provided on site.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified – essential.
• Experience at Finance Director level, or senior Financial Controller ready to step up.
• Experience of group consolidation and intercompany reporting across multiple entities.
• Strong people leadership with track record of coaching finance teams and raising standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director and shareholders as lead finance adviser; attend Board meetings and present the numbers.
• Set and drive the group's financial strategy, including growth plans, investments, and acquisitions or disposals.
• Lead, coach and motivate the finance team; define ownership and succession planning.
• Own monthly management accounts for all entities and the consolidated group, with KPI reporting.
