Finance Director - Aristocrat Interactive, Product Development & Technology

The Finance Director for Aristocrat Interactive Product Development & Technology (based in London) will support the COO of Aristocrat Interactive and her team of four senior leaders. This role involves partnering with the team and the business in decision support, financial planning, analysis, and optimizing global spend in Product and Technology. The role will also involve high interaction with commercial leaders on deals, business cases, and projects.

The position reports to the CFO of Aristocrat Interactive (London) and participates in a community of practice established by the SVP Finance for Product Development and Technology (US). It holds a key role within the London FP&A team, partnering to meet the needs of the D&D function and business objectives, and collaborates with global teams on decision support and spend optimization related to the D&D portfolio.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Partner with the COO and technology leadership to provide data-driven insights and profitability projections, supporting capital allocation decisions, resource prioritization, and strategic planning.
  2. Facilitate investment decision processes, develop business cases, and embed global standard processes for D&D spend across the organization.
  3. Prepare and monitor the annual budget, 5-year long-range plan, and reforecasts, with a focus on headcount and spend reporting.
  4. Collaborate on projects involving allocation of spend to specific programs, understanding time allocation, and developing simple cost allocations.
  5. Ensure D&D investments align with corporate policies and are accurately recorded and reported.
  6. Produce executive analysis on ROI and spend evolution over time.
  7. Work with procurement on contracts and provide thought leadership to influence decisions.
  8. Partner with the enterprise reporting team to improve financial reporting for the D&D function.
  9. Participate in leadership activities to support the finance culture and transformation efforts.
  10. Support M&A and strategic projects related to Product & Technology spend as needed.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in large, complex corporate finance environments, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience leading and delegating within teams.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Understanding of technology trends and challenges.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones, with some travel required.
