Job summary

Estelle Manor in Witney is seeking an exceptional Finance Director to join the Executive Leadership Team. This role goes beyond traditional finance, acting as a trusted partner to the General Manager and leading Finance and Procurement across a fast-growing luxury hospitality estate.

You will combine commercial acumen with financial discipline to drive sustainable growth, ensure governance and compliance, and influence strategic decisions at board level.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with senior finance leadership experience.
• Strong governance, controls and compliance expertise.
• Ability to influence at board-level and across senior stakeholders.
• Experience in hospitality, leisure or multi-site environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an exceptional Finance Director to join the Executive Leadership Team of a world-class estate. This is far more than a traditional finance role. As a trusted partner to the General Manager and a key member of the Estelle Manor leadership team, you will help drive commercial performance, influence strategic decisions, and lead Finance and Procurement across a complex, fast-growing business.

You will combine sharp commercial acumen with rigorous financial discipline, providing the insight, challenge and leadership needed to deliver sustainable growth while ensuring robust governance, controls and compliance.

What you'll do

• Partner with senior leadership to shape strategy and drive business performance.
• Lead all aspects of finance, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audit, tax and cash management.
• Provide Board-level insight, analysis and decision support.
• Develop and inspire a high-performing finance and procurement team of 11 professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence and process transformation.
• Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors and insurers.
• Champion best practice and contribute to wider Group initiatives and strategic priorities.

About you

You are a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a proven track record in senior finance leadership. Equally comfortable in the boardroom and the detail, you are a commercially minded business partner who can influence decisions, challenge constructively and lead with credibility.

You will bring:
