Our Finance function is growing and we are looking for a full-time Finance Director to join our London office. The role is predominantly on-site, with some flexibility for remote working to be discussed.

The role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Director with scale up SaaS experience, reporting directly to the CEO. This is a great opportunity to join a high profile, fast growing organisation that provides a valued service to blue chip customers. You’ll also partner with all teams across our three offices, gaining unique insight into various areas of the business. There will be the opportunity to help grow and expand the finance function as part of this, and work on transformative projects.

Key responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Planning

  • Develop and lead the financial strategy in alignment with company goals.
  • Own the FP&A process, including budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial modelling.
  • Support the CEO and executive team with data-driven insights and scenario planning for strategic decisions.
  • Oversee timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts, board reports and investor updates.
  • Work closely with Commercial team to record and report commercial KPIs, including revenue and retention figures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital and liquidity planning.
  • Manage the running and improvement of both accounts receivable and payable processes.
  • Implement robust internal controls and financial policies in line with best practices.
  • Working with HR on payroll, incentives and benefits administration and processing.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.
  • Manage relationships with banks, external auditors, accountants and tax advisers.
  • Support capital raising efforts, including preparation of financial materials and due diligence.
  • Serve as a financial liaison to the Board, shareholders, and potential investors.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team as the company scales.
  • Mentor and develop finance staff and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a finance leadership/management role within a high-growth SaaS or FinTech company.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, LTV/CAC, GRR/NRR churn) and subscription-based financial modelling.
  • Familiarity with UK taxation and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with a successful track record at operating and working with exec level partners.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and data-driven environment.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Drive and determination to own and carry projects through execution.
  • Intellectual curiosity and roll up sleeves approach to problem solving.
  • Impeccable judgement and integrity.
  • Experience in working with modern finance suites and tools, and MS Office suite.
