Pratap Partnership Ltd is partnering to appoint its next Finance Director in Nottinghamshire. The role is hands-on, leading a finance team of five, owning reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax, and controls while influencing board-level decisions.

You will deliver commercial insight, drive margin improvement and cash conversion, and partner with the MD to optimize operations and profitability. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidates with SME manufacturing experience are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Senior finance leadership experience within an SME manufacturing or similarly operational business.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience in product costing, margin improvement and cash management.
• Proven ability to lead a finance team, improve processes and influence senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach, combining strong financial control with commercial business partnering.

Reporting directly to the MD, this is a hands-on leadership role offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function, influence board-level decisions and drive improvements in profitability, gross margin and cash conversion.
