Job summary

Consult in Central London is seeking a Finance Director to lead finance and provide strategic oversight while owning day-to-day financials. The role reports to the Board and collaborates with Directors and senior management on growth initiatives.

You will drive monthly management accounts, board reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow, while analyzing project profitability and pricing. Experience in professional services or project-based environments is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A qualified accountant with significant senior finance experience (minimum 7-8yrs PQE).
• Proven experience reporting to a Board / Directors.
• Strong SME experience; professional services or project-based exposure is beneficial.

Finance Director | Central London | £110,000–£140,000 DOE (potential flex) + Benefits

FULL TIME OR PART TIME(3-4DAYS)

Robert Half are partnering with an established SME consulting business (turnover of under £10m) to appoint a commercially minded Finance Director.

This is a broad senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Board and working closely with Directors, Partners and the Senior Management Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company’s continued growth and development.

This is a hands-on Finance Director position, combining strategic leadership with day-to-day financial ownership. You’ll be equally comfortable presenting to the Board as you are getting into the detail of the monthly management pack and management accounts.
