We’re excited to be partnering with an incredibly fast-growing Tech/ SaaS business, currently seeing their first Finance Director to come in and not only lead, but also build out the finance function. This is a truly unique opportunity to join a company post investment and help shape the future of this exciting company.

The business requires a highly motivated, technically strong and results driven senior finance leader to help guide them through the next stage of growth following a successful funding round, working closely both with the founders and investors, as well as take lead on the strategic, commercial and technical finance decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a key member of the senior leadership team, bringing the finance team to the forefront of conversations
• Lead on the full accounting lifecycle including month end, management of the P&L and balance sheet and take ownership of internal processes
• Work closely with the founder and leadership team on strategic and commercial finance decisions
• Run the full budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Drive continuous process improvements and automation for scalability
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including key investors
• Develop and enhance KPI reporting and key business metrics
• Identify performance gaps and areas for operational improvement
• Lead on future fundraising efforts

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a CFO/ Finance Director or senior Finance capacity, ideally within a scale up business
• Highly commercially astute with a clear strategic vision
• Experience within a SaaS business
• M&A or fundraising experience a plus
• Experience growing and leading finance teams preferred
