Reporting to, and working in conjunction with, a Managing Director who is highly driven and passionate about the business, the Finance Director will be instrumental in streamlining and improving processes across the organisation with a focus on total business development and growth. Ensuring financial controls and the commercial framework are highly robust, and designing and driving sustainable, profitable growth while providing sound financial and commercial guidance for the entire business.
The Finance Director is the senior executive accountable to the CEO and Board of Directors for managing the company's financial health and long-term growth by establishing financial and commercial strategies, overseeing finance, accounting, and tendering operations, providing coherence between the Finance and Commercial departments, and providing comprehensive reports.
Based in the Central South Coast region of the UK, this forward-thinking, highly respected business requires a commercially focused senior finance professional to work with all key stakeholders to provide finance, operational, and commercial support during this crucial period of growth, post-acquisition integration, and forming a cohesive group structure.
The client offers a generous package including a basic salary of £100k-£120k (dependent on experience and qualifications), with significant bonus potential based on performance and growth. Flexibility in working hours and the possibility of remote work are negotiable.
The ideal candidate will be based in the Central South Coast region and will be required to be on-site, especially initially, to establish relationships and understand the business deeply.
